Earlier this week we saw Peter Davison interviewed on Daybreak, when asked about the 50th he admitted he did in fact have a script for the special.
“I’ve heard lots of rumours, none of which I’m allowed to tell you anything about. I’m privy to them actually. I have got a copy of the script which has got my name embossed across it. So it’s top secret, but there’s other stuff, lots of other things that are going on that people should keep their eye open for around the 50th anniversary special!”
At first it seemed like the script was given to Peter as a gift for his work on Doctor Who as we celebrate the 50th year of the show. However today Peter Davison (talking to BANG Showbiz) has confirmed he will indeed make an appearance but is refusing to give out any spoilers or details.
”I’m making an appearance somewhere over that period of time but I can’t reveal in what. I can’t reveal anything specific about it. I’m not allowed to. It is a big year for the show and we’re all doing our bit for it. Trust me.”
Note he did say “I can’t reveal in what” so perhaps it’s one of the many celebration for the show, but if he is indeed in the 50th, then we now have Matt Smith, David Tennant, John Hurt and Peter Davison will be playing Doctors in ‘The Day of the Doctor’ and according to Davison we can expect more!
